How I worked it!

I guess I have some explaining to do for not updating in like, forever! I have been super busy the last 2 months with studying and writing school papers, and packing suitcases to come home to NY that I just could not devote the right time to my blog! Soooo, without further a due, I'm back and really excited to talk about something I love a little too much. CLOTHES! YAY

The 'how i worked it' section will just be showing how i took something i loved, and how i fixed it up to make the final fabulous product.

This is my style inspiration. It is a pleated v-neck dress from Forever 21 - $19.80

It's super comfortable and such a beautiful summer color for glowing tan skin!

I dressed it up even more with a very simple gold chain with crystals going all around it, along with gold dangle earrings with light creme feathers. Since the necklace was very dainty and light it worked with the big earrings. If a necklace is too bulky with lots of detail avoid dramatic dangle earrings because it can make any outfit look too tacky. (Necklace and Earrings from: Charlotte Russe)

Light beige works beautifully to match the light coral dress. So, I took advantage of my patent leather pumps from chinese laundry and a small beige patent leather handbag from ZARA. 

Not shown very well is my gold and crystal ring from QVC - kirks folly...I think.

O' How I long to get these!!! I wouldn't be able to choose though, they are both deliciously sexy!

If you are looking for a better bargain, I am pretty sure H&M started putting out their own line of bra/crop tops. So instead of about $50.00 (above) you might be paying $15.99 (below), yummy.

I just don't know how confident I could be wearing this out!
I would also consider putting a very low cut slub-knit top over it, if you rather not be so revealing!

Looks like the crop-top is still alive and well this year! 
The styles above may not be available but there are plenty of new crop-tops to go around!

The Sophisticated Business Diva

I really want to work in an office building after seeing how stylish/sexy the modern business woman could be.

The Wish List

I am sorry to say I have not updated in a few days, (like I would have wanted to) do to the fact I have extreme amounts of studying these weeks until the end of the semester! WAHH :-(
But luckily this morning I found just enough spare time to get a post in.

It's another Wish List. (Things I wish I had to make the perfect ensemble.)
Since I took pieces of clothes from various places you are going to have to bear with me, and imagine the outfit in it's entirity in your head like I have done.
Obviously, the whole thing put together looks a lot better than just random pieces of fashion in a picture.

The Day Look: 3-4-6-7
The purple dress with the bathing suit and flat crochet shoes, with the denim button up to keep it even more casual.
The Evening Look: 1-2-3-5-6
The purple dress again with the elephant (creme&gold) necklace with the colorful pastel snap-shut clutch.
Along with the light brown platform heels. The denim button-up shirt may or may not be worn here as well.

Either way you choose to wear it, it's a comfortable and simply sexy outfit for summer days and nights! :-)
